Tiny Auto Shop 1.1

There's money to be had

In a world where construction workers, decorators and supply agents are lazier by the day, a budding new entrepreneur arrives in town. Armed with patience and ready to give a helping hand when required, he will manage his small business until it becomes the city's hub for car enthusiasts.

Tiny Auto Shop - busy day

The understaffed manager

Tiny Auto Shop is played over a series of days (rounds). Each day you will get a number of customers who will each require a specific selection of services. From refueling to applying decals, you will need to work as a dispatch for each service station, and also intervene in the work process when needed.

The gameplay consists of dragging cars over the service stations in order for them to drive to that designated spot (and be serviced). Depending on each client's priority, your job will vary in difficulty. Initially, servicing cars takes 12 seconds for every station, but that can be decreased by applying station upgrades. Building more stations is not a bad idea either.

Sometimes, the task of washing, fixing or painting an automobile will fall into your hands. Despite the obvious inconvenience, the job usually takes much less than 12 seconds, so you can actually speed up the work flow this way. Too bad you don't get to chose to volunteer.

Each customer has a satisfaction level which influences how much money he will eventually give you and ultimately whether he will pay at all. The more a client waits between stations the less satisfied he will be. This also determines your score after each round. Gaining points is useful for advancing levels. Each level will unlock new stations and upgrades as well as award you with gems. The latter are especially useful if you want to keep your development moving along.

Tiny Auto Shop - engine fixing

You see, in Tiny Auto Shop money is not the main issue. You will generally manage to buy something after a couple of rounds, but the time it takes for your purchases to actually come into effect will get from a couple of minutes to a few hours . The only way to get something instantly is by spending gems. Here, the magic of Freemium can be embraced by purchasing gems with real cash or by patiently gathering them through leveling up and focusing on special rounds (when gems are offered as a bonus).

Conclusion

Although Tiny Auto Shop is a Freemium game in the full sense of the word, it is not a broken pay-to-win app. If played casually, you will be using some new upgrades each day. The frantic action that it sometimes delivers makes it less of a puzzle than a regular arcade style game. Still, you may notice that there are patterns that you can adapt to and even exploit. The graphics are cute and although they're a bit rough in some places the visual effect is pleasant.
